Hello readers, and happy 2023! In today’s post I will be sharing my thoughts on the Youth to the People Superfood Cleanser. I received a 1 oz. size bottle of this product in my October Ipsy Glam Bag. I had previously tried a foil sample packet of this cleanser and really enjoyed it, so I was excited to receive more!
The Youth to the People Superfood Cleanser contains superfood ingredients including kale, green tea and spinach. It’s packed with plant surfactants to help remove dirt and makeup from skin. This cleanser also contains antioxidants and vitamins to improve skin texture, and is compatible with all skin types. In addition, is it vegan and cruelty-free. In terms of price, a 2 oz. bottle of this cleanser retails for $16 CAD. I don’t think that price is too unreasonable, especially because a little bit of product goes a long way.
This cleanser has a fresh green tea scent which is not at all overpowering. It has a nice gel texture and quickly lathers up to form a foam. It does an excellent job at removing all my makeup. In my skin care routine, I like to use micellar water with a cotton pad after washing and drying my face. Normally the micellar water always picks up leftover makeup that my other cleansers weren’t able to wash off. That is not the case with the Superfood Cleanser: I couldn’t believe it when my cotton pad still looked clean after using it! Each time I use this cleanser, my skin is left feeling smooth, and never dry. Finally, I am a big fan of its minimalist glass bottle with bold writing.
