Hello dear readers! In today’s post I will be sharing my thoughts on the Ouai Scalp and Body Scrub. I purchased a mini-size of this scrub for a really good price back in December 2021 as an Ipsy add-on item. I then waited a few months before using it. When I finally opened it, I used it very slowly. Ouai is a boujee brand and out of my price range; a full size 250 g jar of this product retails for $50 CAD! I wanted to make it last!
The Ouai Scalp and Body Scrub has a luxurious scent: it smells like an incredible floral bouquet. I love the concept of a two-in-one product for the scalp and body. However, I only used it on my scalp once. I did enjoy how the sugar scrub melted away from my scalp easily. I’ve used different scalp scrubs in the past that were difficult to rinse out. My preference for this particular scrub is to use it on my body for a lovely pampering experience. I mainly used it to exfoliate my back and shoulders, which tend to break out. In terms of ingredients, this scrub contains panthenol, glycerin and coconut oil to improve skin moisture.
I really loved this scrub overall. It is a luxury item, but well worth the price if it is in your budget. I’ve tried a few other products from Ouai and I was never disappointed. I’ll definitely keep my eyes open for any upcoming sales so I can purchase this scrub again!
