Just in case you didn’t already know, Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription service that ships you 5 beauty products (including full size and deluxe size samples) valued at $50 +, for only $13 (they do charge an extra $10 to ship to Canada). The products are curated especially for you, and Ipsy allows you to choose 1 of the items you will receive each month. Everything comes packed in an adorable glam bag to match the month’s theme. The value of the items I receive is definitely worth it, even with the extra shipping charge to Canada. I’m an especially big fan of the add on items Ipsy offers. Each month, you can select up to 10 extra products starting at $3.50 each, and there is no extra shipping charge.
I did not purchase any add-on items this month as I’m trying to minimize my makeup stash. I only go for products that I know I will use soon to keep everything fresh. The August 2022 Ipsy glam bag is vacation themed, featuring cute tropical leaves on a pink background. The zipper is even shaped like a palm leaf! Here are the goodies I received:
Some of these brands are known to me, and some are new. I’ll begin with the known ones. I have used Yensa foundation in the past and I really loved it. I’m excited to try try this Serum Foundation as I’ve recently incorporated serums into my skin care routine. Extra moisture is definitely a must in my thirties. I’ve heard of the Juliette has a Gun brand, but never purchased anything from them before. Lili Fantasy is a combination of white flowers, amber notes and a bubblegum twist. I think it will become my go-to perfume for autumn! Finally, I am also excited about the Youth to the People Dream Eye Cream. I’ve been trying to incorporate a few extra steps into my skincare routine, and specialized night eye creams are one of them.
Jazmine Beauty and Foxybae Hair are new brands to me. I ALWAYS enjoy trying new mascaras, and I use leave-in treatments each time I wash my hair, so I am sure these items will not go to waste! I’ve been subscribed to Ipsy on an off for many years, and I have never been disappointed. It’s a great way to try new products and treat yourself.
