Make Up Forever Ultra HD Foundation Review

Hello, hello. My blogging this year has been extremely sporadic. It’s been quite a busy year for me work and family wise, but I’m still here! In today’s post, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the Make Up Forever Ultra HD Foundation.

I purchased the Make Up Forever Ultra HD Foundation because it claims to be invisible on camera and to naked eye. My previous foundation was matte and definitely noticeable. In general, I don’t go for the “no-makeup makeup look”, but I do find that as I’m ageing, less is more. The idea of a foundation that is invisible to the naked eye really appealed to me. The Make Up Forever Ultra HD foundation does stand up to this claim. The best way to describe the finish this foundation gives is a “your skin, but better look”.

This foundation claims to give medium coverage, but I would say it gives more of a light to medium coverage. If I have any pimples, this foundation is not enough to hide them. It does give a great all over natural base. It feels very light, and definitely does not cake. I did notice that I will have shine in my T-zone in the late afternoon, even though I apply setting powder and setting spray. I will say, I prefer having some shine at the end of the day over having an overdone matte and cakey look. The shine I get is nothing that a little blotting can’t fix! This foundation also does not oxidize, so my skin isn’t orange by the end of the day.

Overall, I’m really satisfied with this foundation. It’s one of the best I’ve tried in a while. I can see this foundation becoming my go-to and I will be purchasing it again!
