My Favorite Christmas Sweets

Hello and welcome to my final Blogmas post! Today I’ll be talking about my favorite Christmas sweets. I definitely have a big sweet tooth, and the holidays are the perfect time to indulge in special treats.

Cookies and Cakes

I’ll begin with holiday cookies and cakes. I get really excited when the limited edition cookies are out, like the Candy Cane Viva Puffs or the Gingerbread Oreos. I definitely have my gluttonous moments, and I have been known to eat a whole row of cookies in no time! As for cakes, I’d like to mention fruitcake. Fruitcake is something you either like or you don’t. Everyone seems to have a strong opinion about it either way. I am a HUGE fan, and I’ve actually started making my own fruitcake a few years ago. Sadly, this year I haven’t had the time so I’ll settle for the store-bought variety.

Holiday Chocolates

A must-mention is chocolate oranges! I purchased one and devoured it already, so that’s why it’s not in the above picture. I’m also a big fan of mint chocoloate, so the Candy Cane Hershey Kisses are right up my alley. I’m on my second bag already.

Sweet Bevreages

Last but not least, let’s talk about sweet bevreages. I’m a BIG coffee person, and I get all hyped up when the holiday drinks are back at Starbucks every year. The Peppermint Mocha is my absolute favorite. I’m also a fan of hot chocolate around the holiday season. I don’t really drink it during the rest of the year.

I’d like to wrap up with some final thoughts on Blogmas. It was my first time participating in this blogging challenge. I adapted it to fit into my schedule by posting bi-weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which made it easier. To be honest, I still found it to be a bit of a challenge as I had to stay on top of planning my posts, taking my photos, etc. I definitely had a lot of fun writting, as well as reading other blogger’s posts. I look forward to participating again in the future!

Wishing everyone peace, joy, and relaxation for the holidays, and all the best for the New Year! 🎇
