Hello lovelies, it’s time for a face moisturizer review! Due to the lockdown in March, I was unable to go to the mall to get my regular moisturizer when my jar ran out. I didn’t want to purchase it online because I was too thrifty (cheap) to pay for shipping. So my best option was to try something new at the drugstore. When I came across the cute packaging of the St. Yves Glowing Oil-Free Face Moisturizer, I couldn’t resist. This product is watermelon scented with real watermelon extract. It claims to maintains glowing skin by offering protection from artificial blue light. I had never used any watermelon scented moisturizer before, so I was really hyped!
Overall, I was really impressed with this product. The formula is almost bouncy. It’s so lightweight and sinks right into my skin, without leaving any greasy feeling behind. I’ve never used something with a texture quite like it before. The watermelon scent is incredible! My only issue with this product is that I don’t think it will be moisturizing enough for the winter months. My skin gets really dry from the wind and cold, and this is a bit too lightweight for that. However, it will definitely be my new summer staple!
