Hello lovely readers! I hope everyone is doing well! I’ve taken another blogging hiatus as I’ve been very busy with exciting things lately. I will be writing an update post soon, but today I wanted to share my thoughts on the Yensa BC Foundation. I’ve been using this product for over a year now, and it’s definitely the best foundation I’ve ever tried. It has fantastic coverage with SPF 40.
Pros of the Yensa BC Foundation
I received a sample size of the Yensa BC Foundation in an Ipsy bag over a year ago. I was very impressed, not only with the quality of this product, but also at how long the sample size lasted! A little amount of product really goes a long way. I ordered two full size bottles when I was nearing the end of my sample, since I was definitely hooked. One full size bottle lasted me 6 months, and I wore it *nearly* everyday. The Yensa BC Foundation claims to be a “skin on skin” foundation, and it really is: it buffs away so beautifully into my face. The formula is creamy and lightweight, and leaves my skin looking dewy and healthy. I also love that it has a high SPF! Sun protection is really important to me.
Cons of the Yensa BC Foundation
I noted two cons to this foundation. The first is the packaging itself: it comes with a pump that is super fun until you get to the end of the tube. There is still about 2 weeks worth of product in the tube that cannot be pumped out. I ended up cutting the tube and putting in a sealed sandwich bag to use up every drop! The other downfall of this foundation is the crazy white cast I got when I took photos with flash (probably because of the SPF). However, it’s rare that I take selfies at night, so it’s totally worth it for me. I will definitely be sticking with this foundation for a long time.
Have you tired any Yensa products? Thanks for reading! xo
