Hi friends and happy Saturday! I was tagged by Melissa over at Castles and Hurricanes to do the 10 Questions About Fall Tag. How fun! So far, fall 2018 has been gorgeous. The crisp air is such a nice change from the humid summer we had. Let’s get into the questions, and don’t forget to check out Melissa’s answers here.
1. What is one candle you MUST light every fall?
I have a candle from Bath and Body Works called Pumpkin Caramel Latte that I only light a few times in the fall. I’ve had this candle for probably 4 or 5 years now, since I light it so rarely. It smells a bit sickly sweet but I love it! I light it rarely because I don’t want to finish it (even though I could always buy a similar one). I actually have a funny story about it. I once lit it when my friend Alicia was staying over for the weekend. I woke up early to make breakfast and lit the candle. She woke up to the sweet smell and thought I was making pancakes. Unfortunately, I was only making scrambled eggs and toast… and Alicia was so disappointed! Oops!!
2. When you think of fall, what does it remind you of?
Crisp air, spectacular colors, sweaters, boots, and happiness!
3. What is your all-time favorite fall/Halloween movie?
I really love Silent Hill. For the longest time I didn’t even know it was based on a video game but it’s a horror movie I try to watch every October.
4. What Halloween costume do you have in mind?
Helga Pataki! Are there any other Hey Arnold fans out there? π
5. What is your favorite fall trend?
Sweaters!! I love oversized sweaters and sweater dresses with leggings and cute boots.
6. When you think of fall, what drink comes to mind?
Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte, DUH!!!!!!!!
7. What is your go-to fall beauty product? A must-have staple!
I would have to say dark nail polish shades, and lots of lotion and moisturizer!! My skin gets so dry as soon as the season changes.
8. Do you prefer apple pie or pumpkin pie?
As much as I love all things pumpkin, I prefer apple pie. I’m just not a huge fan of the consistency of pumpkin pie. I love baking with real pumpkins, and last fall I made a pumpkin cream cheese loaf which was so yummy!!
9. Do you have any fall traditions? If so, tell us all about them!
My fall tradition is going to my family’s cottage for Thanksgiving. Going to the cottage in October is so cozy.
10. The moment of truth: Is fall your favorite season?
YES IT IS!! What can I say, I’m a basic white girl π
