Hello lovelies!! It’s finally getting warmer here! There’s a French saying that goes: “Au mois d’avril, ne te découvre pas d’un fil” which means “In April, do not remove a single thread”. The literal translation doesn’t make much sense, but the saying means that in April, it’s still too early to be putting away all your winter gear as the temperature can still go below zero degrees (and often does!). The first few days of April were quite cold and rainy. However, this weekend has been gorgeous and well above zero so Simon and I decided to go for a long walk near the Ottawa river. As you can see, it’s still a bit gloomy out as the trees are still barren but the gorgeous sunshine made up for it!
