Hello loves! I’m constantly on the hunt for the perfect mascara. To be honest, even if I found the one, I’d probably still want to try more mascaras out. There’s just something about trying different mascara formulas and brushes that gets me so excited! My most recent find is the L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Midnight Black mascara. I don’t believe this is a new product, however it’s new to me! I was really happy to see the brush: it’s a plastic “comb” style brush which makes the application super easy. The formula is on the wet side but dries quickly, so you don’t have to worry about it transferring on your lid. As the name says, this mascara is a very dark black which I love. The L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Midnight Black mascara made my lashes super long and volumized. It’s completely buildable and doesn’t clump up if another coat is added. However there is one con: I noticed this mascara flakes near the end of the day and I wound up with tiny black flecks of mascara on my glasses and the tops of my cheeks. It’s nothing horrible and wipes away easily, but it is a bit of a pain!
The bristles are longer on one side to create a comb. The shorter side is great for
applying mascara to the bottom lashes.
