Hello loves! I have seen quite a few pictures of Sharpie manicures on Pinterest lately. Since I already own metallic Sharpies (they are so fun for crafts!) and white nail polish, I decided to give this manicure a go myself. The Sharpie drew very easily on to my nails and it took no time at all to do this design. I let the Sharpie dry, then applied a thin coat of hairspray to my nails. That sounds weird right?? I read on Pinterest that hairspray stops the Sharpie from smudging when you apply the top coat. As you can see in the pictures, my nails still smudged a bit. However, the hairspray did help because I tried applying the top coat without hairspray on my thumb and the smudging was horrible! I had to go back in with the white polish and repair it. This manicure didn’t last very long because the hairspray made my top coat peel off. Overall, I probably wouldn’t do this manicure again, but it was fun to try!
