Hello everyone!! I’m really late on reviewing this, but better late than never right?
My friend Emily absolutely adores the Sally Hansen Gem Crush polishes. At first I hesitated to try them out since I already own many glitter polishes. But the Gem Crush polishes are definitely unique! In one single coat, your nails are completely covered in beautiful glitter. Add a second coat and the glittery effect will become opaque. I love the glitter mix these polishes contain: they have a base of ultra fine glitter that complety covers the nail, and slightly larger, circular glitter that acts as a pretty accent. Usually when using glitter polishes I always need to apply a base color; however, that’s not the case with the Gem Crush line! The polishes leave a grainy-sand like texture on your nails because of the glitter, but adding a top coat will leave them smooth.
Here is Sally Hansen’s Gem Crush nail color in “Razzle Dazzler” with Avon’s Speed Dry + nail enamel in “Swift Sherbet”.
